I was right, haha. Strickland vs. Nassourdine is scheduled for February in Florida. So, Strickland will remain champion in 2026.

Lol panic sell on strickland hihi. Do you really think the UFC is going to let Strickland move up a weight class? By doing that, they’d lose a marketable fight between Nassourdine and Strickland. Plus, he’d be moving up without even fighting for the title, so there’s no benefit for the UFC. And even if it did happen 'which is less than a 5% chance), there would be a lot of discussion, and he’d remain champion until the end of the year.

ran a model across news + X + reddit for this.. Khamzat Chimaev at 73.0% looks overpriced.. fair value closer to 68.5% market might be too aggressive here.. model sees 4.5% downside Sean Strickland at 22.0% is interesting.. could be value there ran this through polytheta — polytheta xyz

Khamzat has steamrolled most opponents and has never came close to a tie. This man will reign long and hard for sure, best grappler in his weightclass. Absolutely toying with everybody.
